Former member of the Punk group called the New York Dolls ? Still no connection ?
How about Buster Poindexter ?
Getting warm , hey remember "Hot Hot Hot".
When I came across this fictitious baseball card, a mid 1950's version, it touched my 2 biggest loves, music and baseball.
With a long train ride to Montreal last week, armed with Ipod and a new baseball book to read, I was in a great mood.
Heck I even like the organist at the ballgame churning out cheers to the faithful. So if you will indulge me a diversion from strictly baseball writings, I will offer some of my favorite tunes.
So, I am on the desert island, and I can have 50 songs to keep me from going nuts. Of course if I have a radio and I can pull in a ballgame, even better.
